PCR cloning, subcloning and mutagenesis services complement Realgene gene synthesis service. Realgene's gene synthesis technology can synthesize genes or

make constructs for our customers. However, for some constructs that only need simple PCR cloning or mutagenesis, our PCR cloning / subcloning / Mutagenesis service is more cost-effective than de novo gene synthesis.

With gene synthesis, PCR cloning, subcloning and mutagenesis services, Realgene can make any gene or construct in the most cost-effective way.

To order, please provide:

1. Desired target gene sequence, cloning vector and cloning sites.
2. The template and its sequence information.

Order request can be submitted online or by e-mail.

Realgene will

1. Perform PCR cloning, subcloning or mutagenesis to get the desired target construct.
2. Deliver about 5 ug of plasmid with the sequence information to customer.

Subcloning/PCR cloning Price:

* The above list price is only for genes which is less than 1 kb. For longer gene, there is $100 additional cost per kb for screening and sequencing if the gene requires full sequencing.
** The destination vector must be a commercially available vector.

Mutagenesis Price:

* The above list price is only for genes which is less than 1 kb. For longer gene, there is $100 additional cost per kb for screening and sequencing if the gene requires full sequencing.
* One mutation is defined as any combination of mutations within a 10-base frame.

Delivery time:
The typical delivery time is about 14 business days. The deliver time may vary depending on the complexity of the project.
